US Claims Warning to Iran Preceded Islamic State‘s Twin Bombings – WASHINGTON the United States said Thursday it specifically warned Iran of the possibility of an attack before attacks were reported to be carried out by The Islamic State group that killed around 90 people in the southeastern region of Kerman.

Admired by numerous Iranians, Soleimani directed Iranian military operations throughout the Middle East, and millions attended his funeral in 2020.

The United States, which cut official diplomatic ties with Tehran in 1980 following the Islamic revolution, has accused Iran of assisting Hamas, the Palestinian Hamas militant group Hamas and the Yemeni Huthi rebels Lebanese Hezbollah and other armed organizations in Iraq.
