Islam’s Transformative Power: Cultivating a Better Human Being Through Faith

Human Being : As per Abu Hurayra, the Prophet Muhammad told an audience: “Should I not reveal to you who in your group is the best and which ones are not’ (that is, how to distinguish between good and bad)? The people is shbd kaa arth jaaniye

The people who were addressed thus remained who were addressed thus remained quiet. Then, the Prophet repeats the same message three times. Then a person spoke up and asked: ‘Tell us who among us is right and who isn’t. The Prophet said: ‘The good among you are those who expect good to come and are safe against the dangers they face.’ (Sunan Al-Tirmizi, Hadith No. 2263)

This hadith clarifies which people are good and which aren’t. A reasonable person can be assured that if one interacts with him, one will expect nothing but good from him.

He will never be enticed to act unjustly in his dealings. Everyone is a good man and has a portion of ego from birth. He also has a dislike for things that aren’t to his taste.

He gets angry when he is provoked. He is compelled to take revenge on himself; however, the man sticks to his principal stance despite all that.

He takes all psychological traumas in a tolerant manner. He doesn’t, with an attitude of knee-jerk reaction, take the hurt to others. Instead, he exchanges the good to the evil, expecting God to repay himself for any injustice that was done to him.
