Explain The Difference Between The Quran and A Hadith . The Allah speech is that which was revealed to the last Prophet Muhammad through Angel Gabriel in its literal meaning and verbatim form, transmitted to us by various other people through both word and writing.

The Word Qur’an

This interpretation and this exact wording of the Quran is the speech of Allah that was revealed to the final Prophet Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel and has been transmitted to us, through a large number of various individuals (tawatur) orally and in writing.

The word Quran in Arabic is based on the root of Quran, which has several meanings; to read, [Sura 17: 93.], to recite, [Sura 75:18:17: 46.], etc. Quran as a noun, which means the reading or the recitation.

In its application in the Quran itself, the term means the revelation of Allah in the general sense [Sura 17: 82] and is not necessarily confined to the written version in the form of a book, such as that which we possess to-day. But revelation has been taken to Muhammad alone, whereas revelation to other prophets has been called by other terms (e.g. Taurat, Injil, kitab, etc.).

Other Names of the Qur’an

The revelation to the Prophet Muhammad by Allah is called in the Quran itself the name Qur’an (recitation) and by other names, e.g.

Furqaan
Tanzil
Dhikr
Kitab

Such words as Nur (light), Huda (guidance), Rahma (mercy), Majid (glorious), Bashir (announcer), Nadhir (warner), etc. are other references to the Quran.

All these names are based on one of the different facets of the uncovered word of Allah.

The Meaning of Hadith
