Qur’an Juz by Juz PDF: The Quran is divided into thirty parts, each part of which is called a juz. In Arabic, Juz is written in Iran and the Sub-continent. It is also a Persian word written as پَارَه. There are 30 juz in the Holy Quran, also known as chapters (Juz). The division of the Holy Quran into juz has no relevance to its meaning.
Each of the Juz is named after the first word of the first verse of the Juz. There is even internal division in each Juz that is divided into two parts: Hizb, and the meaning of Hizb is two groups and the plural of Hizb is Ahzab. The entire Quran is composed of 60 Hizb. Every Hizb is also divided into 4 quarters on the Maqra; therefore, every Juz consists of 8 quarters. In the entire Quran, 240 Maqras are found. Maqra, in correct interpretation, signifies reading.
