Quranic Arabic Course For Non-Arabic Speakers

Quranic Arabic Course for Children . Ever got hooked on the recital of the Quran, with an audience, if not a call in your heart, making a call? You are not in a lonely world. A lot of us think so. In this paper, what we are going to do is provide you with the stepping stones to developing an in-depth knowledge of the Quran in Arabic. To start an ability to comprehend the language of the Quran, have a look at the following five steps.

Step 1: Three Types of Arabic

Arabic has levels, and it is important that these be understood in order to relate to the Quran. A brief outline is listed below:

  • Spoken Arabic: This is the colloquial language that varies in Morocco in Egypt, and Syria.
  • Standard Arabic: This is the official language of Arabic spoken in the news domain, formal speeches, and formal writing.
  • Classical Arabic: This is where the magic is. Classical Arabic is a preserved language in the Quran. It is intricate, beautiful, and poetic in the manner it takes the message of the Quran in a way that cannot be translated.

To have the Quran as it was meant to be experienced, we concentrate on classical Arabic. Imagine learning the timeless language of a classic.

Step 2: Increase  Key Vocabulary

The trip begins with the acquisition of some of the most fundamental Quranic terminologies. Coming down to earth and becoming familiar with such solid terminology as Allah (God), Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful), Al-Kitab (The Book), etc., will also make each aya appear to be one touch closer to the ground. Take these words as the pegs of your comprehension. Whenever you identify one, it is like coming across a familiar face, and it draws you to text.

Mastering the high-frequency words is similar to creating a toolbox of vocabulary with which you will connect Quranic Arabic one word at a time.

Step 3: Learn the “Statuses”

Grammar in Arabic is our special advantage in unlocking deeper meaning. In English, ‘word order’ tells us who is doing or what is the study’s main subject is. In Arabic, the end of each word indicates what is its role.:

  • Raf’a: This is the “doer” of the action.
  • Nasb: The “receiver” of the action.
  • Jarr: “connected” to other words.

These statuses provide us a tremendous clarity on the relationship of the words, enabling us to discover their meaning that translations fail to do. Consider them to be the vines that are holding each verse together. When you feel more at ease with these, you’ll see how they change something in your way of perception.

Step 4: Learn “Heavy” and “Light” Sounds

Arabic is a language that happens to possess a characteristic of the words being either heavy or light. This clues us in as to what context a word is in and what the word is playing..

  • Heavy words carry a double sound at the end of the word, like “-un” or “-an.”
  • Light words: They omit that supplementary sound due to certain purposes, they put emphasis or they fall under a grammatical formation.

To know this finer distinction is like knowing the tone of a conversation; it is how and why conversations have depth and nuance. The more you listen, the more you will get on to these hints which give the words in the Quran an almost three-dimensional essence.

Step 5: Flexibility in Arabic Words

Arabic words are flexible; their endings depend on what is being said. There are three main categories,

  • Fully Flexible: The default state of a word is when a word can exhibit all three statuses in the normal way.
  • Partly Flexible: These words usually contain non-Arabic names or names of places; they do not reflect all the grammatical endings.
  • Non-Flexible: Words that stay the same in Voice, like “Musa” or “Isa.”

Learning flexibility will make you immediately aware of patterns and how various words relate to each other. By memorizing these categories, you are a step ahead in learning to identify the Quranic text even without a translation.
