For those heading to secondary school or college, September provides evidence of some of the endings that occurred in July, but it’s also a time to celebrate fresh starts.

Saying goodbye to youngsters who are starting nursery for the first time or those who have grown up and are heading off to college may also be difficult for parents in September.

In order to line our wishes for a successful year with the bounties that Allah (SWT) can bestow upon us, it is important to begin with taqwa (God-consciousness), regardless of your circumstances. Use these prayers both before and during the academic year.

General Studying Dua For Exam Success

رَبِّ زِدْنِىْ عِلْمًا

Rabbi zidni ilmaa

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَخْرِجْنِيْ مِنْ ظُلُمَاتِ الْوَهْمِ وَ اَكْرِمْنِيْ بِنُوْرِ الْفَهْمِ

Allhumma Akhrijni min zulumatil wahmi ,wa akrimni be nuril fahmi .

للَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْـتَنِي وَ عَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي ا

Allahumma infa’ani bima alamtuni wa a’limni ma yenfaa’ni

.اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فَهْمَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ حِفْظَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ

Allahumma ini asulak fahmal-nabiyyen wa hifzal mursaleen al-muqarrabeen.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِسَانِي عَامِرًا بِذِكْرِكَ وَ قَلْبِي بِخَشْيَتِك.

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي

“Rabbi zidnee ilma.”
2. “Allahumma akhrijni min zhulumatil wahmi wa akrimni binuril fahmi”
3. “Allahumma infa’ani bima alamtuni wa a’limni ma yenfaa’ni”

(اللهم إني أسألك فهم النبيين وحفظ المرسلين والملائكة المقربين)

“Bismillah, tawakkaltu ‘ala Allah, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.”, this means (In the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah, and there is no power or strength other than Allah.)

Through diligent study and prayer, you can develop self-love and self-forgiveness. Regularly confess your sins to Allah (SWT) (the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to ask for forgiveness from Allah 70–100 times a day; reciting “Astaghfur Allah” is the simplest way to accomplish this) and maintain a pure heart no matter what..

Recall that asking for high grades is only one aspect of dua; another is seeking clarity, understanding, and the capacity to apply that knowledge for the welfare of both ourselves and others.
