What’s the best dua to recite either before or after drinking milk?

It was Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas,

I was in the house of Maymunah. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) accompanied by Khalid ibn al-Walid entered. Two roasted long-tailed lizards placed on the sticks were brought to him.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH). Khalid said: I think that you abominate it, Messenger of Allah. He said: Yes. Then the Messenger of Allah was brought milk, and he drank (it).

The Messenger of Allah went on to say, “When one of you eats, he should say: O Allah, bless us in it, and give us food (or nourishment) better than it.” He should exclaim, “O Allah! bless us in it and give us more of it, for no food or drink satisfies like milk,” when given milk to drink.

The plain fact is that we Muslims can dwell on what Allah has provided us rather than what we lack by practicing appreciation. When you actively seek out things for which you are thankful, it is nearly hard to be resentful or angry.
