They are not free but are given some freedom and boundaries have been described for them. If they follow the commands of Allah Almighty, they would be placed in the heaven as the reward of their good deeds on the earth. Four books are revealed on the four prophet of Allah. These scriptures include the commandments and teachings to be followed in their lives. But in spite of their utmost efforts, many people could not come to the right path.
Different nations were destroyed die to their evil deeds. Many prophets and Rasools of Allah are mentioned in the holy book of Quran. Their stories are also described in order to teach the lesson to the other nations.
This is done so that they get correction from the destruction and punishment of other nation that were present before them. What is the first book of Allah is not difficult to know.

Then Allah determined to make a man. This first man is named Adam. He taught him many things in order that Adam had extra know-how than the angels.
There was one Jinn, known as Iblis, the Devil. Iblis attempted to compare himself to Adam. He believed that he is more honorable than Adam. Therefore he abstained from prostrating despite the fact that Allah had commanded him to do so.
Adam was amazed to see ways and means of this creature, Iblis who abhorred him with out even understanding him and who imagined himself higher than Adam while not having proved that he become worthier.
Allah offers His commissioned creatures’ absolute freedom even to the quantity that they could refuse His commands. Allah offers them the liberty of denial, disobedience, or even war of words with Him. His nation will now no longer lessen if the disbelievers do now no longer accept as true with in Him nor will or not it’s prolonged if many human beings accept as true with in Him.
