Quran Word for Word English Translation PDF. This collection reproduces before us on a line in one column one or two words of the Ayah, and on a line in another column provides their meaning in parallel. Care is taken not to lose, in the mode adopted, the flow and the comprehensibility of the meanings thus expressed in English.
By this approach, the reader is able to determine those English words or phrases that correspond to which Arabic words in the text. There is further merit in confining meaning to the text-wording or importing in the meaning any word or phrase which finds no analog in text.
To make the text of this book more comprehensible, the definitions of nearly all key words in the text are provided separately. In this way, a number has been put upon the English word that represents the meaning of the word in the text, and under that number in another column alongside the general meaning of the text, the meanings of the word have been given.

The pagination has not been done in bulk. In grammatical details, especially forms of the verb and so-called verbal nouns, have also been provided as much as possible.
Just as the words recur at scattered pages, so have been repeated the meanings thereof and notes of the grammar, giving cross reference to at least one prior use of the word, and indicating the page on which and number under which the word has been explained in a prior example.
Its purpose has been to facilitate a non-Arab reader to comprehend Quran Word for Word, not only to understand it, but also to enhance his familiarity with the Arabic of the Quran.
