4	أَوْ زِدْ عَلَيْهِ وَرَتِّلِ الْقُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلًا	Aw zid ‘alaihi wa rattilil-Qur’āna tartīlā	یا اس سے کچھ زیادہ کر لو، اور قرآن کو ٹھہر ٹھہر کر پڑھو
5	إِنَّا سَنُلْقِي عَلَيْكَ قَوْلًا ثَقِيلًا	Innā sanulqī ‘alaika qawlan thaqīlā	بے شک ہم عنقریب تم پر ایک بھاری بات ڈالنے والے ہیں
6	إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ اللَّيْلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطْئًا وَأَقْوَمُ قِيلًا	Inna nāshi’atal-laili hiya ashaddu waṭ’aw wa aqwamu qīlā	بے شک رات کا اٹھنا نفس کو دبانے میں زیادہ مؤثر ہے اور بات (کو سمجھنے) میں زیادہ درست ہے
7	إِنَّ لَكَ فِي النَّهَارِ سَبْحًا طَوِيلًا	Inna laka fin-nahāri sabḥan ṭawīlā	بے شک دن میں تمہارے لیے (کاموں میں) لمبی مصروفیت ہے
8	وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ وَتَبَتَّلْ إِلَيْهِ تَبْتِيلًا	Wadhkuris-ma Rabbika wa tabattal ilaihi tabtīlā	اور اپنے رب کا نام یاد کرو اور پوری طرح اسی کی طرف متوجہ ہو جاؤ
9	رَّبُّ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَاتَّخِذْهُ وَكِيلًا	Rabbul-mashriqi wal-maghribi lā ilāha illā huwa fattakhidh-hu wakīlā	وہ مشرق و مغرب کا رب ہے، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، پس اسی کو اپنا کارساز بنا لو
10	وَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَاهْجُرْهُمْ هَجْرًا جَمِيلًا	Waṣbir ‘alā mā yaqūlūna wahjurhum hajran jamīlā	اور جو کچھ وہ کہتے ہیں اس پر صبر کرو اور خوبصورت انداز میں ان سے کنارہ کشی اختیار کرو
11	وَذَرْنِي وَالْمُكَذِّبِينَ أُولِي النَّعْمَةِ وَمَهِّلْهُمْ قَلِيلًا	Wa dharnī wal-mukadhdhibīna ulin-na‘mati wa mahhil-hum qalīlā	اور جھٹلانے والے خوشحال لوگوں کو مجھ پر چھوڑ دو، اور انہیں تھوڑی مہلت دو
12	إِنَّ لَدَيْنَا أَنكَالًا وَجَحِيمًا	Inna ladainā ankālaw-wa jaḥīmā	بے شک ہمارے پاس (سخت) بیڑیاں اور بھڑکتی آگ ہے
13	وَطَعَامًا ذَا غُصَّةٍ وَعَذَابًا أَلِيمًا	Wa ṭa‘āman dhā ghuṣṣatiw-wa ‘adhāban alīmā	اور گلے میں اٹکنے والا کھانا، اور دردناک عذاب ہے
14	يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الْأَرْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ وَكَانَتِ الْجِبَالُ كَثِيبًا مَّهِيلًا	Yawma tarjuful-arḍu wal-jibālu wa kānatil-jibālu kathīban mahīlā	جس دن زمین اور پہاڑ کانپ اٹھیں گے، اور پہاڑ بکھری ہوئی ریت کی طرح ہو جائیں گے
15	إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ رَسُولًا شَاهِدًا عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ رَسُولًا	Innā arsalnā ilaikum Rasūlan shāhidan ‘alaikum kamā arsalnā ilā Fir‘awna Rasūlā	بے شک ہم نے تمہاری طرف ایک رسول بھیجا ہے جو تم پر گواہ ہے، جیسے ہم نے فرعون کی طرف رسول بھیجا تھا
16	فَعَصَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ الرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُ أَخْذًا وَبِيلًا	Fa‘aṣā Fir‘awnur-Rasūla fa akhadhnāhu akhdhaw-wabīlā	تو فرعون نے اس رسول کی نافرمانی کی، پس ہم نے اسے سخت گرفت میں لے لیا
17	فَكَيْفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرْتُمْ يَوْمًا يَجْعَلُ الْوِلْدَانَ شِيبًا	Fakaifa tattaqūna in kafartum yawmay-yaj‘alul-wildāna shībā	پھر اگر تم کفر کرو تو اس دن سے کیسے بچو گے جو بچوں کو بوڑھا کر دے گا
18	السَّمَاءُ مُنفَطِرٌ بِهِ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَفْعُولًا	As-samā’u munfaṭirum bih, kāna wa‘duhū maf‘ūlā	آسمان اس دن پھٹ جائے گا، اس کا وعدہ ضرور پورا ہونے والا ہے
19	إِنَّ هَٰذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِ سَبِيلًا	Inna hādhihī tadhkirah, faman shā’at-takhadha ilā Rabbihī sabīlā	بے شک یہ ایک نصیحت ہے، پس جو چاہے اپنے رب کی طرف راستہ اختیار کر لے
20	إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَىٰ مِن ثُلُثَيِ اللَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَهُ وَثُلُثَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ مَعَكَ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ ۚ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ۚ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرْضَىٰ ۙ وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ ۙ وَآخَرُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ ۚ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا ۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا ۚ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ	Inna Rabbaka ya‘lamu annaka taqūmu adnā min thuluthayil-laili wa niṣfahū wa thuluthahū wa ṭā’ifatum-minal-ladhīna ma‘ak, wallāhu yuqaddirul-laila wan-nahār, ‘alima al-lan tuḥṣūhu fatāba ‘alaikum faqra’ū mā tayassara minal-Qur’ān, ‘alima an sayakūnu minkum marḍā wa ākharūna yaḍribūna fil-arḍi yabtaghūna min faḍlillāhi wa ākharūna yuqātilūna fī sabīlillāhi faqra’ū mā tayassara minhu wa aqīmuṣ-ṣalāta wa ātuz-zakāta wa aqriḍullāha qarḍan ḥasanā, wa mā tuqaddimū li anfusikum min khairin tajidūhu ‘indallāhi huwa khairaw-wa a‘ẓama ajrā, wastaghfirullāha innallāha ghafūrur-raḥīm	بے شک تمہارا رب جانتا ہے کہ تم قریب دو تہائی رات، یا آدھی رات، یا ایک تہائی رات کھڑے ہوتے ہو، اور تمہارے ساتھیوں میں سے ایک جماعت بھی۔ اور اللہ ہی رات اور دن کا اندازہ رکھتا ہے۔ اسے معلوم ہے کہ تم اس کا حساب نہیں رکھ سکو گے، پس اس نے تم پر مہربانی فرمائی، تو جتنا قرآن تمہارے لیے آسان ہو پڑھ لیا کرو۔ اسے معلوم ہے کہ تم میں سے کچھ بیمار ہوں گے، اور کچھ زمین میں سفر کریں گے اللہ کا فضل تلاش کرنے کے لیے، اور کچھ اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کریں گے۔ پس جتنا آسان ہو قرآن میں سے پڑھ لیا کرو، اور نماز قائم کرو، زکوٰۃ ادا کرو، اور اللہ کو اچھا قرض دو۔ اور تم اپنے لیے جو نیکی آگے بھیجو گے، اسے اللہ کے ہاں بہتر اور اجر میں بڑھ کر پاؤ گے۔ اور اللہ سے بخشش مانگو، بے شک اللہ بخشنے والا، نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے
