In this blog we will learn common dua in Taraweeh prayer to recite. In Tarawih prayers, dua (supplications) are special prayers that are recited at regular intervals (usually after every four rak’ahs) during Ramadan. These prayers focus on asking Allah for mercy, forgiveness, protection, and guidance. Common ones include requests for paradise, safety from hellfire, and to “forgive us, for You are Oft-Forgiving” (Allahumma inna nas’aluka ‘afwaka).
The Tasbeeh of Tarawih, which emphasizes a profound spiritual connection during the holy month, is one of the key duas that are frequently chanted. Other verses include general prayers for protection from harm, guidance, and Allah’s glory and mercy.

Guidance & Well-being:
Meaning : ” O Allah, take us into Your care, bless us with what You have given, guide us among those You have led, provide us well-being among those You have granted well-being, and shield us from the evil You have decreed.”
Protection from Harm:
Meaning: “O Allah, keep us safe from those who are in front of, behind, above, and below us.”
Note on Common Dua in Tarawih Prayer To Recite
While individual supplication is recommended, scholars claim that structured, communal Dua after every four rak’ahs (such as the Afw Dua) is regarded as an innovation (bid’ah) because the Quran and Sunnah do not support it.
During certain times, it is preferable to silently offer personal dua or practice Dhikr, or remembering Allah.
Common Dua in Taraweeh Prayer To Recite. Praying Taraweeh at home continues to have enormous spiritual benefits and provides a wonderful space for introspection and a close relationship with Allah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said some Tarawih prayers at home, according to Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her).
