Dua For Insomnia: The Prophet (PBUH) instructed us all to read the final three Surahs, or chapters, of the Qur’an (i.e., 112, 113, and 114), go to bed in a condition of purity, and then perform the du`aa’ of sleep.
However, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us additional prayers to read in the event of an unusual case of sleep deprivation or insomnia: Two reports that are pertinent and helpful for people with this illness can be found in the sources:
According to Ibn Al-Sunni’s account of Zayd Ibn Thabit’s authority, he stated, “I complained to the Prophet of my incapacity to sleep; then he advised me to read these words of Dua For Insomnia:

Ibn Al-Sunni wrote, “I complained to the Prophet of my inability to sleep; then he told me to read these words,” according to a source on Zayd Ibn Thabit’s authority.
“I was cured of my condition when I said these words,” stated Zayd (may Allah be pleased).
2. At-Tabarani and Ibn Shaybah both quote Khalid Ibn Al-Walid as saying: “I was having trouble sleeping, and when I told the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he asked me, ‘Shall I teach you certain words which if you were to recite you would sleep better? Next, he said: Say:

Translation: O Allah, O You who are the Lord of the seven heavens and everything they contain, the earths and everything they hold, and You who are the Lord of the devils and everyone they deceive, You are my Guardian-Protector against the evils of all of Your creatures; protect me from their incursions and invasions. Glorified is your name, and Noble is the one who benefits from your protection.
Allah Almighty knows best.
