اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي بِالْقُرْآنِ، وَاجْعَلْهُ لِي إِمَامًا وَنُورًا وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً. اللَّهُمَّ ذَكِّرْنِي مِنْهُ مَا نَسِيتُ، وَعَلِّمْنِي مِنْهُ مَا جَهِلْتُ، وَارْزُقْنِي تِلَاوَتَهُ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَطْرَافَ النَّهَارِ، وَاجْعَلْهُ لِي حُجَّةً يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Transliteration

Allahummar-hamni bil-Qur’ani, waj’alhu li imaman wa nuran wa hudan wa rahmah. Allahumma dhakkirni minhu ma nasitu, wa ‘allimni minhu ma jahiltu, warzuqni tilawatahu ana’al-layli wa atrafan-nahar, waj’alhu li hujjatan ya Rabbal-‘alamin.

Dua Khatam Al Quran in English

O Allah, have mercy on me through the Quran, and make it a guide, a light, a direction, and a mercy for me. Remind me of what I forget and teach me what I do not know. Grant me its recitation by night and by day, and make it a proof in my favour, O Lord of the worlds.

Urdu Translation

اے اللہ! قرآن کے ذریعے مجھ پر رحم فرما اور اسے میرے لیے امام، نور، ہدایت اور رحمت بنا دے۔ اے اللہ! اس میں سے جو میں بھول گیا وہ مجھے یاد دلا دے اور جو میں نہیں جانتا وہ مجھے سکھا دے۔ مجھے رات کے اوقات اور دن کے کناروں میں اس کی تلاوت نصیب فرما اور اسے میرے حق میں حجت بنا دے، اے تمام جہانوں کے رب!

A Short Prophetic Dua to Add

There is also a dua about the Quran that is reported from the Prophet ﷺ in Musnad Ahmad. You can add its closing request to your prayer:

أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي

An taj’alal-Qur’ana rabi’a qalbi, wa nura sadri, wa jala’a huzni, wa dhahaba hammi.
Meaning: That You make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the removal of my sadness, and the end of my worry.

اردو: کہ تو قرآن کو میرے دل کی بہار، میرے سینے کا نور، میرے غم کا ازالہ اور میری پریشانی کا خاتمہ بنا دے۔
