In this Article We will learn about Surah Al-Inshiqaq (Arabic text: الانشقاق‎) is the 84th chapter of the Holy Qur’an. The Surah Al-Inshiqaq titled in English means “The Sundering”.  Surah Al-Inshiqaq have consists of 25 verses.

What is Surah Al-Inshiqaq?

Surah Al-Inshiqaq takes its name from the word “Inshiqaq,” which means “splitting”. The Surah Al-Inshiqaq  describes cosmic events that will occur on the Day of Judgment, focusing on the moment when the heavens and the earth will be torn apart as a signal of the beginning of the Day of Reckoning.

سُورَةُ الانْشِقَاقِ (Surah Al-Inshiqaq – The Splitting Asunder)

4وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْWa alqat maa feeha wa takhallat
5وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْWa azinat li rabbihaw wa huqqat
6يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَاقِيهِYaaa ayyuhal insaanu innaka kaadihun ilaa rabbika kadhan famulaaqeeh
7فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِFa ammaa man ootiya kitaabahoo biyameenih
8فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًاFasawfa yuhasabu hisaabay yaseeraa
9وَيَنْقَلِبُ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًاWa yanqalibu ilaaa ahlihee masrooraa
10وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِWa ammaa man ootiya kitaabahoo waraaa’a zahrih
11فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُو ثُبُورًاFasawfa yad’oo subooraa
12وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًاWa yaslaa sa’eeraa
13إِنَّهُ كَانَ فِي أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًاInnahoo kaana fee ahlihee masrooraa
14إِنَّهُ ظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ يَحُورَInnahoo zanna al-lai yahoor
15بَلَىٰ إِنَّ رَبَّهُ كَانَ بِهِ بَصِيرًاBalaa inna rabbahoo kaana bihee baseera
16فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِFalaaa uqsimu bishshafaq
17وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَWallaili wa ma wasaq
18وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَWalqamari izat tasaq
19لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنْ طَبَقٍLatarkabunna tabaqan ‘an tabaq
20فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَFama lahum laa yu’minoon
21وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَWa iza quri’a ‘alaihimul qur’aanu laa yasjudoon
22بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُكَذِّبُونَBalil lazeena kafaroo yukazziboon
23وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَWallaahu a’lamu bimaa yoo’oon
24فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍFabashir hum bi’azaabin aleem
25إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍIllal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati lahum ajrun ghayru mamnoon
