3وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحَآقَّةُAnd what can make you know what is the Inevitable Realityاور تم کیا جانو کہ وہ کیا ہے ہونی شدنی؟আপনি কি কিছু জানেন, সেই সুনিশ্চিত বিষয় কি
4كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ وَعَادُۢ بِٱلۡقَارِعَةِThamud and ‘Aad denied the Striking Calamityثمود اور عاد نے اُس اچانک ٹوٹ پڑنے والی آفت کو جھٹلایاআদ ও সামুদ গোত্র মহাপ্রলয়কে মিথ্যা বলেছিল।
5فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِSo as for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast]تو ثمود ایک سخت حادثہ میں ہلاک کیے گئےঅতঃপর সমুদ গোত্রকে ধ্বংস করা হয়েছিল এক প্রলয়ংকর বিপর্যয় দ্বারা।
6وَأَمَّا عَادٞ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِرِيحٖ صَرۡصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٖAnd as for ‘Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent windاور عاد ایک بڑی شدید طوفانی آندھی سے تباہ کر دیے گئےএবং আদ গোত্রকে ধ্বংস করা হয়েছিল এক প্রচন্ড ঝঞ্জাবায়ূ
7سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَبۡعَ لَيَالٖ وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومٗاۖ فَتَرَى ٱلۡقَوۡمَ فِيهَا صَرۡعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٍ خَاوِيَةٖWhich Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm treesاللہ تعالیٰ نے اُس کو مسلسل سات رات اور آٹھ دن اُن پر مسلط رکھا (تم وہاں ہوتے تو) دیکھتے کہ وہ وہاں اِس طرح پچھڑے پڑے ہیں جیسے وہ کھجور کے بوسیدہ تنے ہوںযা তিনি প্রবাহিত করেছিলেন তাদের উপর সাত রাত্রি ও আট দিবস পর্যন্ত অবিরাম। আপনি তাদেরকে দেখতেন যে, তারা অসার খর্জুর কান্ডের ন্যায় ভূপাতিত হয়ে রয়েছে।
8فَهَلۡ تَرَىٰ لَهُم مِّنۢ بَاقِيَةٖThen do you see of them any remainsاب کیا اُن میں سے کوئی تمہیں باقی بچا نظر آتا ہے؟আপনি তাদের কোন অস্তিত্ব দেখতে পান কি
9وَجَآءَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَمَن قَبۡلَهُۥ وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَٰتُ بِٱلۡخَاطِئَةِAnd there came Pharaoh and those before him and the overturned cities with sinاور اِسی خطائے عظیم کا ارتکاب فرعون اور اُس سے پہلے کے لوگوں نے اور تل پٹ ہو جانے والی بستیوں نے کیاফেরাউন, তাঁর পূর্ববর্তীরা এবং উল্টে যাওয়া বস্তিবাসীরা গুরুতর পাপ করেছিল।
10فَعَصَوۡاْ رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَخَذَهُمۡ أَخۡذَةٗ رَّابِيَةًAnd they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity]ان سب نے اپنے رب کے رسول کی بات نہ مانی تو اُس نے اُن کو بڑی سختی کے ساتھ پکڑاতারা তাদের পালনকর্তার রসূলকে অমান্য করেছিল। ফলে তিনি তাদেরকে কঠোরহস্তে পাকড়াও করলেন।
11إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلۡمَآءُ حَمَلۡنَٰكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡجَارِيَةِIndeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing shipجب پانی کا طوفان حد سے گزر گیا تو ہم نے تم کو کشتی میں سوار کر دیا تھاযখন জলোচ্ছ্বাস হয়েছিল, তখন আমি তোমাদেরকে চলন্ত নৌযানে আরোহণ করিয়েছিলাম।
12لِنَجۡعَلَهَا لَكُمۡ تَذۡكِرَةٗ وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٞ وَٰعِيَةٞThat We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of itتاکہ اِس واقعہ کو تمہارے لیے ایک سبق آموز یادگار بنا دیں اور یاد رکھنے والے کان اس کی یاد محفوظ رکھیںযাতে এ ঘটনা তোমাদের জন্যে স্মৃতির বিষয় এবং কান এটাকে উপদেশ গ্রহণের উপযোগী রূপে গ্রহণ করে।
13فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ نَفۡخَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞThen when the Horn is blown with one blastپھر جب ایک دفعہ صور میں پھونک مار دی جائے گیযখন শিংগায় ফুৎকার দেয়া হবে-একটি মাত্র ফুৎকার
14وَحُمِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَٱلۡجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗAnd the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blowاور زمین اور پہاڑوں کو اٹھا کر ایک ہی چوٹ میں ریزہ ریزہ کر دیا جائے گاএবং পৃথিবী ও পর্বতমালা উত্তোলিত হবে ও চুর্ণ-বিচুর্ণ করে দেয়া হবে
15فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ وَقَعَتِ ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُThen on that Day, the Resurrection will occurاُس روز وہ ہونے والا واقعہ پیش آ جائے گاসেদিন কেয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে।
16وَٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَهِيَ يَوۡمَئِذٖ وَاهِيَةٞAnd the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirmاُس دن آسمان پھٹے گا اور اس کی بندش ڈھیلی پڑ جائے گیসেদিন আকাশ বিদীর্ণ হবে ও বিক্ষিপ্ত হবে।
17وَٱلۡمَلَكُ عَلَىٰٓ أَرۡجَآئِهَاۚ وَيَحۡمِلُ عَرۡشَ رَبِّكَ فَوۡقَهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ ثَمَٰنِيَةٞAnd the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them]فرشتے اس کے اطراف و جوانب میں ہوں گے اور آٹھ فرشتے اُس روز تیرے رب کا عرش اپنے اوپر اٹھائے ہوئے ہوں گےএবং ফেরেশতাগণ আকাশের প্রান্তদেশে থাকবে ও আট জন ফেরেশতা আপনার পালনকর্তার আরশকে তাদের উর্ধ্বে বহন করবে।
18يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُعۡرَضُونَ لَا تَخۡفَىٰ مِنكُمۡ خَافِيَةٞThat Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealedوہ دن ہوگا جب تم لوگ پیش کیے جاؤ گے، تمہارا کوئی راز بھی چھپا نہ رہ جائے گاসেদিন তোমাদেরকে উপস্থিত করা হবে। তোমাদের কোন কিছু গোপন থাকবে না।
19فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ هَآؤُمُ ٱقۡرَءُواْ كِتَٰبِيَهۡSo as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, “Here, read my recordاُس وقت جس کا نامہ اعمال اُس کے سیدھے ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گا وہ کہے گا “لو دیکھو، پڑھو میرا نامہ اعمالঅতঃপর যার আমলনামা ডান হাতে দেয়া হবে, সে বলবেঃ নাও, তোমরাও আমলনামা পড়ে দেখ।
20إِنِّي ظَنَنتُ أَنِّي مُلَٰقٍ حِسَابِيَهۡIndeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my accountمیں سمجھتا تھا کہ مجھے ضرور اپنا حساب ملنے والا ہےআমি জানতাম যে, আমাকে হিসাবের সম্মুখীন হতে হবে।
21فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖSo he will be in a pleasant lifeپس وہ دل پسند عیش میں ہوگاঅতঃপর সে সুখী জীবন-যাপন করবে
22فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖIn an elevated gardenعالی مقام جنت میںসুউচ্চ জান্নাতে।
23قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٞIts [fruit] to be picked hanging nearجس کے پھلوں کے گچھے جھکے پڑ رہے ہوں گےতার ফলসমূহ অবনমিত থাকবে।
24كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَآ أَسۡلَفۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَيَّامِ ٱلۡخَالِيَةِ[They will be told], “Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past(ایسے لوگوں سے کہا جائے گا) مزے سے کھاؤ اور پیو اپنے اُن اعمال کے بدلے جو تم نے گزرے ہوئے دنوں میں کیے ہیںবিগত দিনে তোমরা যা প্রেরণ করেছিলে, তার প্রতিদানে তোমরা খাও এবং পান কর তৃপ্তি সহকারে।
25وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أُوتَ كِتَٰبِيَهۡBut as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, “Oh, I wish I had not been given my recordاور جس کا نامہ اعمال اُس کے بائیں ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گا وہ کہے گا “کاش میرا اعمال نامہ مجھے نہ دیا گیا ہوتاযার আমলনামা তার বাম হাতে দেয়া হবে, সে বলবেঃ হায় আমায় যদি আমার আমল নামা না দেয়া হতো।
26وَلَمۡ أَدۡرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهۡAnd had not known what is my accountاور میں نہ جانتا کہ میرا حساب کیا ہےআমি যদি না জানতাম আমার হিসাব
27يَٰلَيۡتَهَا كَانَتِ ٱلۡقَاضِيَةَI wish my death had been the decisive oneکاش میری وہی موت (جو دنیا میں آئی تھی) فیصلہ کن ہوتیহায়, আমার মৃত্যুই যদি শেষ হত।
28مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنِّي مَالِيَهۡۜMy wealth has not availed meآج میرا مال میرے کچھ کام نہ آیاআমার ধন-সম্পদ আমার কোন উপকারে আসল না।
29هَلَكَ عَنِّي سُلۡطَٰنِيَهۡGone from me is my authorityمیرا سارا اقتدار ختم ہو گیاআমার ক্ষমতাও বরবাদ হয়ে গেল।
30خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ[Allah will say], “Seize him and shackle him(حکم ہو گا) پکڑو اِسے اور اِس کی گردن میں طوق ڈال دوফেরেশতাদেরকে বলা হবেঃ ধর একে গলায় বেড়ি পড়িয়ে দাও
31ثُمَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُThen into Hellfire drive himپھر اِسے جہنم میں جھونک دوঅতঃপর নিক্ষেপ কর জাহান্নামে।
32ثُمَّ فِي سِلۡسِلَةٖ ذَرۡعُهَا سَبۡعُونَ ذِرَاعٗا فَٱسۡلُكُوهُThen into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert himپھر اِس کو ستر ہاتھ لمبی زنجیر میں جکڑ دوঅতঃপর তাকে শৃঙ্খলিত কর সত্তর গজ দীর্ঘ এক শিকলে।
33إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِIndeed, he did not used to believe in Allah, the Most Greatیہ نہ اللہ بزرگ و برتر پر ایمان لاتا تھاনিশ্চয় সে মহান আল্লাহতে বিশ্বাসী ছিল না।
34وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِNor did he encourage the feeding of the poorاور نہ مسکین کو کھانا کھلانے کی ترغیب دیتا تھاএবং মিসকীনকে আহার্য দিতে উৎসাহিত করত না।
35فَلَيۡسَ لَهُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ هَٰهُنَا حَمِيمٞSo there is not for him here this Day any devoted friendلہٰذا آج نہ یہاں اِس کا کوئی یار غم خوار ہےঅতএব, আজকের দিন এখানে তার কোন সুহূদ নাই।
36وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنۡ غِسۡلِينٖNor any food except from the discharge of woundsاور نہ زخموں کے دھوون کے سوا اِس کے لیے کوئی کھاناএবং কোন খাদ্য নাই, ক্ষত-নিঃসৃত পুঁজ ব্যতীত।
37لَّا يَأۡكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡخَٰطِـُٔونَNone will eat it except the sinnersجسے خطا کاروں کے سوا کوئی نہیں کھاتاগোনাহগার ব্যতীত কেউ এটা খাবে না।
38فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِمَا تُبۡصِرُونَSo I swear by what you seeپس نہیں، میں قسم کھاتا ہوں اُن چیزوں کی بھی جو تم دیکھتے ہوতোমরা যা দেখ, আমি তার শপথ করছি।
39وَمَا لَا تُبۡصِرُونَAnd what you do not seeاور اُن کی بھی جنہیں تم نہیں دیکھتےএবং যা তোমরা দেখ না, তার
40إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ[That] indeed, the Qur’an is the word of a noble Messengerیہ ایک رسول کریم کا قول ہےনিশ্চয়ই এই কোরআন একজন সম্মানিত রসূলের আনীত।
41وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَاعِرٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تُؤۡمِنُونَAnd it is not the word of a poet; little do you believeکسی شاعر کا قول نہیں ہے، تم لوگ کم ہی ایمان لاتے ہوএবং এটা কোন কবির কালাম নয়; তোমরা কমই বিশ্বাস কর।
42وَلَا بِقَوۡلِ كَاهِنٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَNor the word of a soothsayer; little do you rememberاور نہ یہ کسی کاہن کا قول ہے، تم لوگ کم ہی غور کرتے ہوএবং এটা কোন অতীন্দ্রিয়বাদীর কথা নয়; তোমরা কমই অনুধাবন কর।
43تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worldsیہ رب العالمین کی طرف سے نازل ہوا ہےএটা বিশ্বপালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে অবতীর্ণ।
44وَلَوۡ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيۡنَا بَعۡضَ ٱلۡأَقَاوِيلِAnd if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayingsاور اگر اس (نبی) نے خود گھڑ کر کوئی بات ہماری طرف منسوب کی ہوتیসে যদি আমার নামে কোন কথা রচনা করত
45لَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِٱلۡيَمِينِWe would have seized him by the right handتو ہم اِس کا دایاں ہاتھ پکڑ لیتےতবে আমি তার দক্ষিণ হস্ত ধরে ফেলতাম
46ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ ٱلۡوَتِينَThen We would have cut from him the aortaاور اِس کی رگ گردن کاٹ ڈالتےঅতঃপর কেটে দিতাম তার গ্রীবা।
47فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ عَنۡهُ حَٰجِزِينَAnd there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from himپھر تم میں سے کوئی (ہمیں) اس کام سے روکنے والا نہ ہوتاতোমাদের কেউ তাকে রক্ষা করতে পারতে না।
48وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَذۡكِرَةٞ لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَAnd indeed, the Qur’an is a reminder for the righteousدرحقیقت یہ پرہیزگار لوگوں کے لیے ایک نصیحت ہےএটা খোদাভীরুদের জন্যে অবশ্যই একটি উপদেশ।
49وَإِنَّا لَنَعۡلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَAnd indeed, We know that among you are deniersاور ہم جانتے ہیں کہ تم میں سے کچھ لوگ جھٹلانے والے ہیںআমি জানি যে, তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ মিথ্যারোপ করবে।
50وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَسۡرَةٌ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَAnd indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelieversایسے کافروں کے لیے یقیناً یہ موجب حسرت ہےনিশ্চয় এটা কাফেরদের জন্যে অনুতাপের কারণ।
51وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَقُّ ٱلۡيَقِينِAnd indeed, it is the truth of certaintyاور یہ بالکل یقینی حق ہےনিশ্চয় এটা নিশ্চিত সত্য।
52فَسَبِّحۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَظِيمِSo exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Greatپس اے نبیؐ، اپنے رب عظیم کے نام کی تسبیح کروঅতএব, আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামের পবিত্রতা বর্ননা করুন।
