Tā-Sīn. Tilka āyātu al-Qur’āni wa kitābin mubīn.Tā-Sīn. These are the verses of the Quran and a clear Book.
Hudān wa bushrā li-l-mu’minīn.As guidance and good tidings for the believers.
Those who establish prayer and give alms and have certainty in the Hereafter.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَInna al-ladhīna lā yu’minūna bi-l-ākhirati zayyannā lahum a’mālahumffahum ya’mahūn.Indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter – We have made their deeds appear good to them, so they wander blindly.
Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst punishment, and in the Hereafter, they will be the greatest losers.
Wa innaka la-tulaqqa al-Qur’āna min ladun hakīmin ‘alīm.And indeed, you receive the Quran from One who is Wise and Knowing.
When Moses said to his family, ‘Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning torch so that you may warm yourselves.’
فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ مَوْعِدَهُ وَجَاءَ بِالنَّارِ قُلْنَا أَرْسِلْ مَعَهُ طَائِفَةً مِّن قَوْمِكَ يَحْذَرُونَFalammā qadā maw’idahu wa jā’a bi-l-nāri qulnā arsilš ma’ahu tā’ifatan min qawmika yahdharūn.But when he came to the fire, he was called, ‘Indeed, I am Moses.’ And, ‘Send forth with me the Children of Israel.’
Qāla man rabbukumā yā Mūsā.He said, ‘Who is your Lord, O Moses?’
Qāla rabbunā al-ladhī a’tā kulla shay’in khalqahu thumma hadā.He said, ‘Our Lord is the One who gave each thing its form and then guided [it].’
Qāla famalā bālu al-qurūni al-ūlā.He said, ‘Then what is the situation of the former generations?’
He said, ‘The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in the Book. My Lord does not err, nor does He forget.’
الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَسَلَكَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِّن نَّبَاتٍ شَتَّىٰAl-ladhī ja’ala lakumu al-arda mahdan wa salaka lakum fīhā subul wa anzala mina al-samā’i mā’an fa-akhrajnā bihi azwājan min nabātatin shattā.Who has made for you the earth a place of rest and inserted therein for you roads and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of plants of various types.
Kulū wa ar’aw an’āmakum inna fī dhālika la-āyātin li-ulī al-nuhā.Eat and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of understanding.
And from it We created you, and into it We return you, and from it We will remove you once more.
Wa laqad araynāhu āyātinā kullahā fakadhdhaba wa abā.And We certainly showed him Our signs, all of them, but he denied and refused.
Qāla ajitnā bi-siḥrin yā Mūsā.He said, ‘Have you come to us with magic, O Moses?’
He said, ‘You have already known that no one has sent down these except the Lord of the heavens and the earth as clear proofs, and indeed, I think you, O Pharaoh, are doomed.’
Fa-arāda an yastafizzahum mina al-ardi fa-aghraqnāhu wa man ma’ahu jamī’ā.So he wanted to drive them from the land, but We drowned him and those with him, all together.
وَقُلْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اسْكُنُوا الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيفًاWa qulnā min ba’dihi li-banī Isrā’īl iskunu al-arda fa-idhā jā’a wa’du al-ākhirati ji’nā bikum lafīfā.And We said after Pharaoh to the Children of Israel, ‘Dwell in the land. And when the promise of the Hereafter comes to pass, We will bring you forth in a mixed crowd.’
And with truth have We sent it down, and with truth it has descended. And We have not sent you except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.
And [it is] a Quran which We have separated [into parts so] that you might recite it to the people over a prolonged period. And We have sent it down progressively.
Qul lā as’alukum ‘alayhi ajrā in ajrī illā ‘inda Allāh wa huwa ‘alā kulli shay’in shahīd.Say, ‘I do not ask you for this [message] any payment. My only payment is from Allah. And He is, over all things, a Witness.’
Say, ‘Sufficient is Allah as a witness between me and you. Indeed, He is of His servants Acquainted and Seeing.’
And those to whom We gave the Scripture know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth. So do not be among the doubters.
And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Wa in tut’ akthara man fi al-ardi yudillūka ‘an sabīli Allāh in yattabi’ūn illā al-zanna wa in hum illā yakhrusūn.And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will lead you astray from the way of Allah. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying.
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَىٰ مِن ثُلُثَيِ اللَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَهُ وَثُلُثَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَكَ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ ۚ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ۚ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرْضَىٰ ۙ وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ ۙ وَآخَرُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ ۚ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا ۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا ۚ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌInna rabbaka ya’lamu annaka taqūmu adnā min thuluthay al-layli wa nisfihu wa thuluthuh wa tā’ifatun mina al-ladhīna āmanū ma’ak wa Allāhu yuqaddiru al-layla wa al-nahār ‘alima an lan tuhsūhu fatāba ‘alaykum faqra’ū mā tayassara mina al-Qur’āni ‘alima an sayakūnu minkum mardā wa ākhirūn yadrībūn fi al-ardi yabtaghūn min fadli Allāh wa ākhirūn yuqātilūn fi sabīli Allāh faqra’ū mā tayassara minhu wa aqīmū al-salāta wa ātū al-zakāta wa aqridū Allāha qardan hasanā wa mā tuqaddimū li-anfusikum min khayrin tajidūhu ‘inda Allāh huwa khayran wa a’zama ajrā wa-staghfirū Allāh inna Allāha ghafūrun rahīm.Indeed, your Lord knows that you stand [in prayer] almost two-thirds of the night or [sometimes] half of it or [sometimes] a third of it, and [so do] a group of those with you. And Allah determines [the extent of] the night and the day. He has known that you will not be able to do it, so He has turned to you in mercy. So recite what is easy [for you] of the Quran. He has known that there will be among you the ill, and [others] traveling throughout the land seeking [something] of the bounty of Allah, and [yet others] fighting for the cause of Allah. So recite what is easy from it. And establish prayer and give zakah, and loan to Allah a goodly loan. And whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah. It is better and greater in reward. And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
And say, ‘Praise is [due] to Allah, who has not taken a son and has had no partner in [His] dominion and has not [need of] any protector out of weakness; and glorify him with [great] glorification.’
وَمِن آيَاتِهِ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ ۚ لَا تَسْجُدُوا لِلشَّمْسِ وَلَا لِلْقَمَرِ وَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُنَّ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَWa min āyātihi al-laylu wa al-nahāru wa al-shamsu wa al-qamar lā tasjudū li-l-shamsi wa lā li-l-qamar wa asjudū li-Allāhi al-ladhī khalaqahunna in kuntum iyyāhu ta’budūn.And of His signs are the night and day and the sun and moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostrate to Allah, who created them, if it is Him that you worship.
فَإِنِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فَالَّذِينَ عِندَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْأَمُونَFa-in istakbarū fa-al-ladhīna ‘inda rabbika yusabbihūn lahu bi-al-layli wa al-nahāri wa hum lā yas’amūn.But if they are arrogant, those near your Lord exalt Him by night and by day, and they do not become weary.
وَمِن آيَاتِهِ أَنَّكَ تَرَى الْأَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً فَإِذَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِي أَحْيَاهَا لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌWa min āyātihi annaka tarā al-arda khāshi’atan fa-idhā anzalnā ‘alayhā al-mā’a ihtazzat wa rabat inna al-ladhī ahyāhā lamuḥyī al-mawtā innahu ‘alā kulli shay’in qadīr.And of His signs is that you see the earth stilled; then when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and grows. Indeed, He who has given it life is the Giver of Life to the dead. Indeed, He is over all things competent.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا لَا يَخْفَوْنَ عَلَيْنَا ۗ أَفَمَن يُلْقَىٰ فِي النَّارِ خَيْرٌ أَم مَّن يَأْتِي آمِنًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ إِنَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌInna al-ladhīna yulhidūn fī āyātinā lā yakhfawna ‘alaynā afaman yulqā fi al-nāri khayrun am man ya’tī āminan yawma al-qiyāmah i’malū mā shi’tum innahu bi-mā ta’malūn basīr.Indeed, those who turn away from Our verses are not hidden from Us. Is one who is cast into the Fire better or one who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do what you will; indeed, He is Seeing of what you do.
Indeed, those who have disbelieved in the Reminder when it comes to them [are unaware]. And indeed, it is a mighty Book.
Falsehood cannot reach it in the present or in the future. [It is] a revelation from One Wise and Praiseworthy.
Illā mā shā’a Allāh rabbī wāsi’u al-‘ilm in shi’tum dhakart wa in shi’tum nasīt.Except what Allah wills. My Lord is vast in knowledge. [Say], ‘If you wish, I could remind [you], or if He wills, He leaves you astray.’
And those who came after them say, ‘Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.’
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا نَصِيبًا مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ يَشْتَرُونَ الضَّلَالَةَ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَن تَضِلُّوا السَّبِيلَAlam tara ila al-ladhīna ūtū nasīban mina al-kitābi yashtarūn al-dallalah wa yurīdūn an tadillū al-sabīl.Have you not seen those to whom a portion of the Scripture has been given? They purchase error and wish for you to stray from the way.
Wa Allāhu a’lamu bi-a’dā’ikum wa kafā bi-Allāhi waliyyān wa kafā bi-Allāhi nasīrā.But Allah is most knowing of your enemies. And sufficient is Allah as an ally, and sufficient is Allah as a helper.
مِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُوا يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍ وَرَاعِنَا لَيًّا بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْنًا فِي الدِّينِ ۚ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانظُرْنَا لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ وَلَٰكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًاMina al-ladhīna hādū yuharrifūn al-kalima ‘an mawādi’ihi wa yaqūlūn sami’nā wa ‘asaynā wa-sma’ ghayra musmā’ wa rā’inā layyan bi-alsinathim wa ta’nan fi al-dīn wa law annahum qālū sami’nā wa ata’nā wa-sma’ wa-nzurnā laka-na khayran lahum wa aqwam wa lakin la’anahumu Allāh bi-kufrihim falā yu’minūn illā qalīlā.Among those who are Jews, there are some who distort words from their [proper] usages and say, ‘We hear and disobey’ and ‘Hear as one who does not hear’ and ‘Ra’ina,’ twisting their tongues and disparaging the religion. And if they had said [instead], ‘We hear and we obey’ and ‘Wait for us [to learn],’ it would have been better for them and more suitable. But Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ آمِنُوا بِمَا نَزَّلْنَا مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا مَعَكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن نَّطْمِسَ وُجُوهًا فَنَرُدَّهَا عَلَىٰ أَدْبَارِهَا أَوْ نَلْعَنَهُمْ كَمَا لَعَنَّا أَصْحَابَ السَّبْتِ ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًاYā ayyuhā al-ladhīna ūtū al-kitāba āminū bi-mā nazzalnā muṣaddiqan li-mā ma’akum min qablu an natmis wujūhan fanariddahā ‘alā adbārihā aw nal’anahum kamā la’annā ashāba al-sabt wa kāna amru Allāhi maf’ūl.O you who were given the Scripture, believe in what We have sent down confirming that which is with you, before We obliterate faces and turn them toward their backs or curse them as We cursed the sabbath-breakers. And ever is the command of Allah accomplished.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًاInna Allāha lā yaghfiru an yushrika bihi wa yaghfiru mā dūna dhālika li-man yashā wa man yushrik bi-Allāhi faqad dalla dalālan ba’īdā.Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And whoever associates partners with Allah has certainly gone far astray.
In yad’ūn min dūnihi illā ināthān wa in yad’ūn illā shayāan maridā.They invoke besides Him none but females and invoke not but a rebellious Satan.
Allah has cursed him. And he said, ‘I will surely take from Your servants an appointed share.’
وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُم فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ آذَانَ الْأَنْعَامِ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ الشَّيْطَانَ وَلِيًّا مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِينًاWa la-udillannah um wa la-umniannah um wa la-āmurannahum fal-yubattikun ānāna al-an’āmi wa la-āmurannahum fal-yughayyirun khalqa Allāh wa man yattakhidhi al-shayān waliyyā min dūni Allāhi faqad khassira khusrānan mubīnā.‘And I will mislead them, and I will arouse desire in them, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah.’ And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss.
He promises them and arouses desire in them. But Satan does not promise them except delusion.
Ulā’ika ma’wāhum jahannam wa lā yajidūn ‘anhā mahīsā.Those – their refuge will be Hell, and they will not find from it an escape.
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ اللَّهِ قِيلًاWa al-ladhīna āmanū wa ‘amilū al-sālihāt sanudhiluhum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā al-anhār khālidīn fīhā abadā wa’da Allāhi haqqa wa man asdaqu mina Allāhi qīlā.But those who believed and did righteous deeds – We will admit them into gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. [It is] the promise of Allah, [which is] true. And who is more truthful than Allah in statement?
Laysa bi-amāniyyikum wa lā bi-amāniyyi ahli al-kitāb man ya’mal sū’an yujza bihi wa lā yajid lahu min dūni Allāhi waliyyān wa lā nasīrā.[Salvation is] not by your desires nor by the desires of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and will not find besides Allah any protector or helper.
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَٰئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ نَقِيرًاWa man ya’mal mina al-sālihāt min dhakarin aw unthā wa huwa mu’min fa-ulā’ika yadkhulūn al-jannah wa lā yuzlamūn naqīrā.And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer – those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.
وَمَن أَحْسَنُ دِينًا مِّمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ وَاتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلًاWa man ahsan dīnan mimman aslama wajhahu li-Allāhi wa huwa muhsin wa-ttaba’a millata Ibrāhīm hanīfā wa-ttakhidha Allāhu Ibrāhīm khalīlā.And who is better in religion than one who submits his face to Allah while doing good and follows the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth? And Allah took Abraham as an intimate friend.
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّحِيطًاWa li-Allāhi mā fi al-samāwāti wa mā fi al-ard wa kāna Allāhu bi-kulli shay’in muhītā.To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah, over all things, encompassing.
وَيَسْتَفْتُونَكَ فِي النِّسَاءِ ۚ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِيهِنَّ وَمَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ فِي يَتَامَى النِّسَاءِ اللَّاتِي لَا تُؤْتُونَهُنَّ مَا كُتِبَ لَهُنَّ وَتَرْغَبُونَ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ وَأَن تَقُومُوا لِلْيَتَامَىٰ بِالْقِسْطِ ۚ وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِهِ عَلِيمًاWa yastaftūnaka fi al-nisā’ quli Allāhu yuftīkum fīhinna wa mā yutlā ‘alaykum fi al-kitāb fi yatāmā al-nisā’ al-lāti lā tu’tūnahunna mā kutiba lahunna wa targhaban an tankihūhunna wa al-mustada’afīn mina al-wildān wa an taqūmū li-al-yatāmā bi-al-qist wa mā taf’alū min khayrin fa-inna Allāha kāna bihi ‘alīm.And they ask you about women. Say, ‘Allah informs you about them and [about] what is recited to you in the Book concerning the orphan girls to whom you do not give what is prescribed for them – and [yet] you desire to marry them – and [concerning] the weak among children and that you uphold justice toward the orphans. And whatever good you do – indeed, Allah is ever Knowing of it.’
وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِن بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَن يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًا ۚ وَالصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ ۗ وَأُحْضِرَتِ الْأَنفُسُ الشُّحَّ ۚ وَإِن تُحْسِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًاWa ini imra’atun khāfat min ba’lihā nushūzan aw i’rādan falā junāha ‘alayhimā an yusliḥā baynahum sulḥā wa al-sulḥu khayrun wa uhdirat al-anfusu al-shuhh wa in tuḥsinū wa tattaqū fa-inna Allāha kāna bi-mā ta’malūn khabīrā.But if a woman fears from her husband abandonment or contempt, there is no blame upon them if they make terms of settlement between themselves – and settlement is better. And present in [human] souls is stinginess. But if you do good and fear Allah – then indeed, Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.
وَلَن تَسْتَطِيعُوا أَن تَعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ النِّسَاءِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتُمْ ۖ فَلَا تَمِيلُوا كُلَّ الْمَيْلِ فَتَذَرُوهَا كَالْمُعَلَّقَةِ ۚ وَإِن تُصْلِحُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًاWa lan tastaī’ū an ta’dilū bayna al-nisā’ wa law harastum falā tamīlū kulla al-mayl fathadhurūhā ka-al-mu’allaqah wa in tusliḥū wa tattaqū fa-inna Allāha kāna ghafūran rahīmā.And you will never be able to be fair between women, even if you desire to. So do not incline [toward one] so as to leave another hanging. And if you amend and fear Allah – then indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
وَإِن يَتَفَرَّقَا يُغْنِ اللَّهُ كُلًّا مِّن سَعَتِهِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ وَاسِعًا حَكِيمًاWa in yatafarraqā yughni Allāhu kullan min sa’atihi wa kāna Allāhu wāsi’an hakīmā.But if they separate [by divorce], Allah will enrich each [of them] from His abundance. And ever is Allah Encompassing and Wise.
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَلَقَدْ وَصَّيْنَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْ أَنِ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ وَإِن تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَنِيًّا حَمِيدًاWa li-Allāhi mā fi al-samāwāti wa mā fi al-ard wa laqad wassaynā al-ladhīna ūtū al-kitāba min qablikum wa iyyākum ani ittaqū Allāh wa in takfurū fa-inna li-Allāhi mā fi al-samāwāti wa mā fi al-ard wa kāna Allāhu ghaniyyān hamīdā.To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And We have certainly instructed those who were given the Scripture before you and [also] you to fear Allah. But if you disbelieve – then indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah Free of need and Praiseworthy.
To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.
إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَيَأْتِ بِآخَرِينَ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ قَدِيرًاIn yashā yudhhibkum ayyuhā al-nāsu wa ya’ti bi-ākhirīn wa kāna Allāhu ‘alā dhālika qadīr.If He wills, He can do away with you, O people, and bring forth others. And ever is Allah concerning this competent.

And ever is Allah Hearing and Seeing.

If you have come out fighting for My cause and seeking My approval, [take them not as friends]. You confide to them affection, but I am most knowing of what you have concealed and what you have declared. And whoever does it among you has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way.
In yathqafūkum yakūnū lakum a’dā’an wa yabsutū ilaykum aydiyahum wa alsinatahum bi-al-sū’i wa wadū law takfurūn.If they gain dominance over you, they will be to you enemies and extend against you their hands and their tongues with evil, and they wish that you would disbelieve.

He will judge between you. And Allah is Seeing of what you do.
There has already been for you an excellent pattern in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people, ‘Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah. We have rejected you, and there has arisen between us and you enmity and hatred forever, unless you believe in Allah alone’ – except for the saying of Abraham to his father, ‘I will surely ask forgiveness for you, although I have not [power to do] for you anything against Allah. Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the destination.’
Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for those who have disbelieved and forgive us, our Lord. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِيهِمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُLaqad kāna lakum fīhim uswa hasanah li-man kāna yarjū Allāh wa al-yawm al-ākhir wa man yatawalla fa-inna Allāha huwa al-ghaniyy al-hamīd.There has certainly been for you in them an excellent example for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day. But whoever turns away – then indeed, Allah is the Free of need and the Praiseworthy.
عَسَىٰ اللَّهُ أَن يَجْعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ الَّذِينَ عَادَيْتُم مِّنْهُم مَّوَدَّةً ۚ وَاللَّهُ قَدِيرٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ‘Asā Allāhu an yaj’ala baynakum wa bayna al-ladhīna ‘ādaytum minhum mawaddah wa Allāhu qadīr wa Allāhu ghafūrun rahīm.Perhaps Allah will put, between you and those to whom you have been enemies among them, affection. And Allah is competent, and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
لَا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللَّهُ عَن الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجُوكُم مِّن دِيَارِكُمْ أَن تَبَرُّوهُمْ وَتُقْسِطُوا إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَLā yanhaakumu Allāhu ‘an al-ladhīna lam yuqātilūkum fi al-dīn wa lam yukhrijūkum min diyārikum an tabarrūhum wa tuqsitū ilayhim inna Allāha yuḥibbu al-muqsitīn.Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes – from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.
إِنَّمَا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللَّهُ عَن الَّذِينَ قَاتَلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَأَخْرَجُوكُم مِّن دِيَارِكُمْ وَظَاهَرُوا عَلَىٰ إِخْرَاجِكُمْ أَن تَوَلَّوْهُمْ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُمْ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَInnamā yanhaakumu Allāhu ‘an al-ladhīna qātalūkum fi al-dīn wa akhrajūkum min diyārikum wa zāharū ‘alā ikhrajikum an tawallawhum wa man yawallawhum fa-ulā’ika humu al-zālimūn.Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion – [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا جَاءَكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتُ مُهَاجِرَاتٍ فَامْتَحِنُوهُنَّ ۖ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيمَانِهِنَّ ۖ فَإِنْ عَلِمْتُمُوهُنَّ مُؤْمِنَاتٍ فَلَا تَرْجِعُوهُنَّ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ ۖ لَا هُنَّ حِلٌّ لَّهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ حِلٌّ لَّهُنَّ ۖ وَآتُوهُنَّ مَا أَنفَقُوا ۚ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ ۚ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوا بِعِصَمِ الْكَوَافِرِ وَاسْأَلُوا مَا أَنفَقْتُمْ وَلْيَسْأَلُوا مَا أَنفَقُوا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ حُكْمُ اللَّهِ ۖ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌYā ayyuhā al-ladhīna āmanū idhā jā’akumu al-mu’minātu muhājirah fat-tamiḥinūhunna Allāhu a’lamu bi-īmānihinn fa-in ‘alimtumūhunna mu’mināt falā tarji’ūhunna ila al-kuffār lā hunna hillun lahum wa lā hum hillun lahunna wa ātūhunna mā anfaqū wa lā junāha ‘alaykum an tankihūhunna idhā ātaytumūhunna ujūrahunna wa lā tumsikū bi-‘isami al-kawāfir wa-salū mā anfaqtum wa lyas’alū mā anfaqū dhālikum ḥukmu Allāh yaḥkumu baynakum wa Allāhu ‘alīmun hakīm.O you who have believed, when there come to you believing women as emigrants, examine them. Allah is most knowing as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers. They are not lawful for the disbelievers, nor are the disbelievers lawful for them. But give the disbelievers what they have spent. And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation. And do not hold onto the ties of disbelieving women, and ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the judgement of Allah; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
وَإِن فَاتَكُمْ شَيْءٌ مِّنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ فَآتُوا الَّذِينَ ذَهَبَتْ أَزْوَاجُهُمْ مِثْلَ مَا أَنفَقُوا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي أَنتُم بِهِ مُؤْمِنُونَWa in fātakum shay’un min azwājikum ila al-kuffār fa-ātū al-ladhīna dhahabat azwājuhum mithla mā anfaqū wa-ttaqū Allāha al-ladhī antum bihi mu’minūn.And if any of your wives has gone away to the disbelievers, and then you obtain [something] from them, give those whose wives have gone the equivalent of what they had spent. And fear Allah, in whom you are believers.
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتُ يُبَايِعْنَكَ عَلَىٰ أَن لَّا يُشْرِكْنَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَسْرِقْنَ وَلَا يَزْنِينَ وَلَا يَقْتُلْنَ أَوْلَادَهُنَّ وَلَا يَأْتِينَ بِبُهْتَانٍ يَفْتَرِينَهُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِنَّ وَأَرْجُلِهِنَّ وَلَا يَعْصِينَكَ فِي مَعْرُوفٍ ۙ فَبَايِعْهُنَّ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُنَّ اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌYā ayyuhā al-nabiyyu idhā jā’aka al-mu’minātu yubāyi’nnaka ‘alā an lā yushrikna bi-Allāh shay’an wa lā yasriqna wa lā yaznīn wa lā yaqtulna awlādahunna wa lā ya’tīn bi-buhtānin yaftarīnahu bayna aydīhinn wa arjulihinn wa lā ya’sīnnaka fi ma’rūf fabāyi’hunna wa-staghfir lahunna Allāh inna Allāha ghafūrun rahīm.O Prophet, when the believing women come to you pledging to you that they will not associate anything with Allah and will not steal and will not commit adultery and will not kill their children and will not bring forth a false claim that they forge between their hands and feet and will not disobey you in what is right – then accept their pledge, and ask Allah’s forgiveness for them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَوَلَّوْا قَوْمًا غَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ قَدْ يَئِسُوا مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ كَمَا يَئِسَ الْكُفَّارُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْقُبُورِYā ayyuhā al-ladhīna āmanū lā tawallaw qawman ghadiba Allāhu ‘alayhim qad ya’isū mina al-ākhirah kamā yai’s al-kuffār min ashābi al-qubūr.O you who have believed, do not ally yourselves with a people with whom Allah has become angry. They have despaired of [the reward in] the Hereafter just as the disbelievers have despaired of [the return of] the dead in the graves.
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ ۚ قَالَ أَأَسْجُدُ لِمَنْ خَلَقْتَ مِن طِينٍWa idh qulnā li-al-malā’ikah asjudū li-ādam fa-sajadū illā Iblīs qāla aasajudu li-man khalaqta min tīn.And [mention, O Muhammad], when We said to the angels, ‘Prostrate before Adam,’ and they prostrated, except for Iblis. He said, ‘Should I prostrate to one you created from clay?’
قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَكَ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كَرَّمْتَ عَلَيَّ لَئِنْ أَخَّرْتَنِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لَأَحْتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًاQāla ara’aytaka hādhā al-ladhī karramta ‘alayya la-in akhkhartanī ilā yawmi al-qiyāmah la-aḥtanakanna dhurriyyatahu illā qalīlā.He said, ‘Do you see this one whom you have honored above me? If you delay me until the Day of Resurrection, I will surely destroy his descendants, except for a few.’
قَالَ اخْرُجْ مِنْهَا مَذْءُومًا مَّدْحُورًا ۖ لَّمَن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَQāla-khruj minhā madh’ūman madhūrā laaman tabi’aka minhum la-amla’anna jahannam minkum ajma’īn.He said, ‘Depart from it [i.e., Paradise], reproached and expelled. Those of them who follow you – I will surely fill Hell with you, all together.’
And O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers.’
فَوَسْوَسَ لَهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ لِيُبْدِيَ لَهُمَا مَا وُورِيَ عَنْهُمَا مِن سَوْآتِهِمَا وَقَالَ مَا نَهَاكُمَا رَبُّكُمَا عَنْ هَٰذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ إِلَّا أَن تَكُونَا مَلَكَيْنِ أَوْ تَكُونَا مِنَ الْخَالِدِينَFawaswasa lahumā al-shayān li-yubdiya lahumā mā wuriya ‘anhuma min sawāthihimā wa qāla mā nahaakumā rabbukumā ‘an hādhihi al-shajarah illā an takunā malakay-ni aw takunā mina al-khālidīn.But Satan whispered to them to make apparent to them that which was concealed from them of their private parts. He said, ‘Your Lord did not forbid you this tree except that you become angels or become of the immortal.’
Wa qāsamahuma innī lakumā lamina al-nāsihīn.And he swore to them, ‘Indeed, I am to you from among the sincere advisors.’
فَدَلَّاهُمَا بِغُرُورٍ ۚ فَلَمَّا ذَاقَا الشَّجَرَةَ بَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْآتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ ۖ وَنَادَىٰهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمَا عَن تِلْكُمَا الشَّجَرَةِ وَأَقُل لَّكُمَا إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمَا عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌFadallāhumā bi-ghurūr falammā dhāqā al-shajarah badat lahumā sawāthuhum wa atafiqā yakhsifān ‘alayhimā min waraq al-jannah wa nādāhumā rabbuhum alam anhakumā ‘an tilkumā al-shajarah wa aqul lakumā inna al-shayān lakumā ‘aduwwun mubīn.So he made them fall, through deception. And when they tasted of the tree, their private parts became apparent to them, and they began to fasten together over themselves from the leaves of Paradise. And their Lord called to them, ‘Did I not forbid you from that tree and tell you that Satan is to you a clear enemy?’
قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَQālā rabbana zalamna anfusanā wa in lam taghfir lanā wa tarhamna lanakūnanna mina al-khāsirīn.They said, ‘Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.’
He said, ‘Depart, with some of you as enemies to others. And for you on earth is a place of settlement and enjoyment for a time.’
Qāla fīhā tahyawn wa fīhā tamūtūn wa minhā tukhrajūn.He said, ‘Therein you will live, and therein you will die, and from it you will be brought forth.’
يَا بَنِي آدَمَ قَدْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ لِبَاسًا يُوَارِي سَوْآتِكُمْ وَرِيشًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُ التَّقْوَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَYā banī ādam qad anzalnā ‘alaykum libāsan yuwārī sawātkum wa rīshan wa libāsu al-taqwā dhālika khayrun dhālika min āyāti Allāh la’allahum yadhdhakkarūn.O children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness – that is best. That is from the signs of Allah that perhaps they will remember.
يَا بَنِي آدَمَ لَا يَفْتِنَنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ كَمَا أَخْرَجَ أَبَوَيْكُم مِّنَ الْجَنَّةِ يَنزِعُ عَنْهُمَا لِبَاسَهُمَا لِيُرِيَهُمَا سَوْآتِهِمَا ۗ إِنَّهُ يَرَاكُمْ هُوَ وَقَبِيلُهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا تَرَوْنَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَYā banī ādam lā yaftinnannakumu al-shayān kamā akhraj abaw-aykum mina al-jannah yanzi’u ‘anhuma libāsahumā li-yuriyahumā sawāthihimā innahu yarākum huwa wa qabīluh min hayth lā tarawnahum innā ja’alnā al-shayātīn awliyā’a li-al-ladhīna lā yu’minūn.O children of Adam, let not Satan tempt you as he removed your parents from Paradise, stripping them of their clothing to show them their private parts. Indeed, he sees you – he and his tribe – from where you do not see them. Indeed, We have made the devils allies to those who do not believe.
وَإِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً قَالُوا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهَا آبَاءَنَا وَاللَّهُ أَمَرَنَا بِهَا ۖ قُل إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ ۖ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَWa idhā fa’alū fāhishah qālū wajadnā ‘alayhā ābā’anā wa Allāhu amaranā bihā qul inna Allāha lā ya’muru bi-al-fahshā’i ataqūlūn ‘alā Allāh mā lā ta’lamūn.And when they commit an immorality, they say, ‘We found our fathers doing this, and Allah has ordered us to do it.’ Say, ‘Indeed, Allah does not order immorality. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?’
Say, ‘My Lord has ordered justice and that you maintain yourselves [in worship] at every place [of worship] and invoke Him, sincere to Him in religion.’ Just as He produced you initially, you will return.’
A group He guided, and a group deserved [to be in] error. Indeed, they had taken the devils as allies instead of Allah while they thought that they were guided.
يَا بَنِي آدَمَ خُذُوا زِينَتَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَلَا تُسْرِفُوا ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْرِفِينَYā banī ādam khudhū zīnatakum ‘inda kulli masjid wa kulū wa-shrabū wa lā tusrifū innahu lā yuḥibbu al-musrifīn.O children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but do not be excessive. Indeed, He does not like those who commit excess.
قُل إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّيَ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَالْإِثْمَ وَالْبَغْيَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَأَن تُشْرِكُوا بِاللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَأَن تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَQul innamā harrama rabbī al-fawāḥish mā zahara minhā wa mā batan wa al-ithm wa al-baghya bi-ghayri al-ḥaqq wa an tushrikū bi-Allāh mā lam yunazzil bihi sultānā wa an taqūlū ‘alā Allāh mā lā ta’lamūn.Say, ‘My Lord has only forbidden immoralities – what is apparent of them and what is concealed – and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know.’
وَقَدِّرُوا الَّذِينَ يُظِنُّ بِهِمْ أَنَّهُم يَلْقَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ وَجَدُوا عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ أَجَرَهُمْ قَالَ إِنَّ رَبِّي وَاسِعُ الْعِلْمِ ۖ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِندَهُ بِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّىWa qaddarū al-ladhīna zanna bihim annahum yalqawn rabbahum wajadū ‘inda rabbihim ajrahum qāla inna rabbī wāsi’u al-‘ilm kulle shay’in ‘indahu bi-ajalin musammā.And those who believe and do righteous deeds – those who believe and do righteous deeds – there will be forgiveness and noble provision. But those who work against Our verses, [striving] to cause failure – those are the companions of Hellfire. Say, ‘My Lord is vast in knowledge…’
And that is a nation which has passed on. For them is what they earned, and for you is what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٌ ۖ قَالَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا ائْتِ بِقُرْآنٍ غَيْرِ هَٰذَا أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ ۖ قُل مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَن أُبَدِّلَهُ مِن تِلْقَاءِ نَفْسِي ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ ۖ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍWa idhā tutlā ‘alayhim āyātunā bayyinātun qāla al-ladhīna lā yarjūn liqā’anā i’ti bi-Qur’ānin ghayri hādhā aw baddilhu qul mā yakūnu lī an ubaddilahu min tilqā’i nafsī in attabi’u illā mā yūḥā ilayya innī akhāfu in ‘asaytu rabbī ‘adhāba yawmin ‘azīm.And when Our verses are recited to them as clear proofs, those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, ‘Bring us a Quran other than this, or change it.’ Say, [O Muhammad], ‘It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me. Indeed, I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day.’

The Problem:

Many people search for grand miracles while ignoring small, everyday signs of Allah’s wisdom around them. Surah 27 challenges this mindset directly, showing that even an ant’s instinct carries lessons about awareness, leadership, and gratitude that most people simply walk past.

The Insight:

The insight here is beautifully simple: النمل (the ants) warn their colony about Sulayman’s approaching army, and Sulayman smiles, grateful for understanding even this small creature’s speech. This teaches that true wisdom means noticing details others dismiss as insignificant or beneath attention.

The Solution:

Once this shift happens, surah naml becomes a daily reminder rather than just a historical story. Below is a quick summary table, followed by real Qur’an verses and Hadith that support this reflective approach to faith.
